Welcome to another Powerful Creator Conversation — a sacred space where we slow down, tune in, and do the real work of becoming who we came here to be.
Before we dove into the topic of honoring the luteal phase, I had to take a moment to ground us in something deeper. I reminded everyone on the call: this isn’t just about cycles, or science, or productivity. This is about power. And presence. And remembering who we are.
Not just who we’re becoming — but who we already are, right now.
We are a small group of women doing the work to live in our power. To practice it. To embody it. To create lives that feel real, honest, aligned — lives that reflect our truth and honor our bodies. That’s what we’re building together in this community. And that’s what makes it sacred.
And part of that sacred work is recognizing our season. Not just the metaphorical season of life, but the physical one, too — the one our bodies move through every month. Because if we don’t know where we are in our cycle, we can’t honor it. We end up comparing ourselves to unrealistic standards, pushing when we need rest, judging ourselves for feeling slow or tender or emotional.
So today, we centered this conversation around the luteal phase — a powerful time that asks us to slow down, listen deeper, and prepare to release. I didn’t grow up with this knowledge.
Most of us didn’t. But learning about this phase, and honoring it, has changed the way I live and lead.
Let’s talk about what it means to honor the luteal phase — practically, emotionally, and spiritually.

💡 3 Powerful Takeaways:
1️⃣ Understanding the Season You’re In
There’s a deeper kind of power that comes from syncing with your body—not just intellectually, but intuitively. Our cycle phases aren’t just physical shifts; they mirror emotional and spiritual seasons too. And when we’re disconnected from that rhythm, we often mistake natural changes in energy or emotion as personal failures.
What I’ve come to realize is that so much of our self-judgment isn’t even ours—it’s the result of being taught to ignore our inner cues. I used to push through exhaustion, question my cravings, or feel undisciplined when I slowed down. But the truth is, that slowing down was wisdom. That need for comfort was communication.
This work isn’t about “fixing” ourselves. It’s about listening. And as we learn to do that more deeply, we become more aligned, more intentional, and more powerful in how we create.
2️⃣ The Luteal Phase Explained
The luteal phase is the second half of your menstrual cycle. It starts after ovulation (around Day 15) and lasts until your period begins—typically 10 to 14 days.
This is your body’s inner autumn. A time to slow down, turn inward, and prepare to release.
Progesterone rises, which can make you feel:
– More tired– More sensitive
– More emotional
– More in need of comfort and stillness
✨ Your body wants rest.
✨ Your spirit wants truth.
✨ Your nervous system wants ease.
🧠 What Happens Emotionally + Spiritually?
What I’ve noticed is everything starts to surface—old emotions, past wounds, outdated beliefs. Not because they’re new… but because now we’re quiet enough to feel them.
If we’re not tuned in, we can try to push through. We hustle. We diet. We force clarity. And we end up creating from stress instead of alignment.
But when we honor this phase:
– We reflect instead of react
– We process instead of push
– We rest instead of resist
This is the time to slow down and listen.
To cry if you need to.
To clean up what’s lingering.
To release what you’ve outgrown.
This phase isn’t weakness—it’s your body’s built-in truth-teller.
It’s emotional alchemy.
It’s sacred slowing down.
It’s how we stop creating from chaos… and start creating from clarity.
3️⃣ How I’m Honoring My Luteal Phase
Here’s what I’ve been living and learning during this part of my cycle:
🌿 Lifestyle + Energy
Saying no to anything that feels forceful, draining, or out of alignment. Napping, going to bed early, staying off social when needed. Creating cozy spaces to rest, cry, journal, or reflect. Letting myself slow down without guilt—no forcing clarity or productivity. Honoring that this may not be the week to be social or network-heavy
🍲 Food
Eating more complex carbs—sweet potatoes, oats, rice. Nourishing my body with protein and iron-rich foods like beef, lentils, spinach. Choosing warm, comforting meals that feel grounding and familiar. Listening to cravings and satisfying them in a way that supports my body. Letting go of diet rules and replacing restriction with self-understanding
🧘🏽♀️ Movement
Taking slow, gentle walks outdoors. Stretching in bed, on the floor—wherever feels soft. Yin yoga, breathwork, or simply resting while tuning in. Moving with intention, not intensity
🧥 Clothing
Wearing soft robes, oversized tees, and cozy textures that feel good. Choosing comfort and ease over tight or structured clothes. Leaning into earthy, soothing, and sensual colors. Letting what I wear feel like a hug for my body.
✨ 3 Action Steps to Honor Your Luteal Phase:
This is about making space for your body’s wisdom.
Every day in your luteal phase, we invite you to practice this sacred pause. Here’s how:
1. Tune In
Start by getting quiet.
Slow down.
Ask your body, Where am I right now? What do I need physically, emotionally, spiritually?
Let the question land. Your body always knows. It’s about building the habit of listening.
2. Go to Your Sacred Space
Create a soft, cozy space that feels safe and nourishing. This can be your bed, a floor pillow, or your favorite chair with a warm drink. The goal is comfort—somewhere you can be fully with yourself without pressure.
3. Journal It Out
Use this space to do your daily power practice. Grab your journal and work with the prompts below. Let them guide your inner work and help you clear, release, and realign.
What am I ready to release with love?
What version of me is being completed?
What did I learn this past cycle—and what do I want to bring forward?
What does my body need right now—emotionally, physically, spiritually?
This isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being present. Let this be your daily reset during the luteal phase—a space where truth, release, and power can rise.

💖 A Note from Amber Breanna:
Just to bring it all together…
Being a Powerful Creator isn’t about constantly doing or performing. It’s about knowing who you are, knowing where you are, and honoring that—fully.
This season, especially the luteal phase, is here to teach us how to slow down.
How to reflect.
How to release.
How to return to ourselves with love.
When we know our season, we stop resisting.
We start aligning. And when we align, we create from truth—not pressure.
From power—not performance.
So, here’s what I want you to carry with you:
Honor where you are.
Listen to your body.
Feel what’s asking to be felt.
Let this be the week you slow down with intention and let rest be your spiritual practice.
Because this is what makes us Powerful Creators.
Not just the building… but the becoming. The becoming more of who we truly are.
With love & power,

Today Im honoring my luteal phase by cleaning & cleansing my space. As it rains outside, I left my windows open to just kinda be consumed by the smell of rain, the flow of the rain and the cleansing of it. I owe it to myself to make my space my sanctuary and my safe place.
I feel so much more at peace with a clean space so today I honor that
