Hey Powerful Creators ✨
This chapter, Chapter 15 in The Psychology of Money, called “Nothing’s Free” is a money concept I really loved reading about. And honestly, it is something I have definitely experienced firsthand.
He talks about the price of investing, the emotional price, and how most people see it as a fine instead of a fee.
And that one mindset shift changes everything.
It reminded me of a lesson my mentor taught us years ago about having a strong investment muscle.
The emotional and mental strength it takes to consistently invest in yourself, whether it is personal development, money, relationships, whatever it may be.
And I can personally say that after many years of doing this Powerful Creator work, I have developed a strong investment muscle.
When it is time to pay for an event, a book, a course, I am all for it.
But it did not start when I had money.
It started when I was walking dogs for ten dollars an hour and still paying $222 a month for my spiritual development.
At the time, it seemed crazy.
But it was absolutely worth it. 🌱
That experience taught me the real value of investing in myself, especially in moments when I felt like I did not have it. Now, even though I have built that muscle, there are still little moments when I am making a financial decision and I feel that flutter in my stomach.
But I am not afraid of that feeling anymore.
I know my body is telling me:
“I am pushing my limits. I am expanding. I am stepping into something bigger.” ✨
My body wants to keep me safe and familiar, but those are the exact moments when the work kicks in.
When faith kicks in.
When it is time to push ourselves.
That is when you trust and know that everything is working out in your favor. 💗
So bringing it back to this chapter, yes, nothing is free.
And it does not need to be.
Everything we plant will be given back to us tenfold. And even if we do not see it financially right away, it comes back energetically. Sometimes the return is the lesson, the clarity, the awareness, the reminder of what not to do again.
So I want to know: What did this chapter bring up for you?
Are there moments where you feel discouraged from “losing money” or not getting a return on your investment right away
Let’s talk about it. 🌹
With love and power,
Amber Breanna 💗🔥
